Hi, my name is Star. I am a 2.5-year-old female sweetheart. I am a medium-sized girl weighing about 30lbs. I am a happy girl who has met many other pups and humans (big and small) and I can tell you; I love them ALL! My tail seems to have a mind of its own and loves to wag and wag. I have to say, I think my unique eyes are my bestest, unique feature. I have one vibrant blue and one brown.
I am 100% potty trained and can stay home alone for hours at a time. My fosters don’t kennel me because I am such a well-behaved girl. I am very energetic and may have a bit of a hunting breed in me. I love to watch and “try to” catch squirrels and rabbits around the backyard. I take 3 to 4 walks a day and I am getting better each day on my lead leash. I may need a bit more training on leash as I said, I love those darn squirrels and rabbits, so I do tend to pull a bit. I already know the commands sit, down and working on shake. I am smart and pick up things quickly. I currently have a fenced yard where I can explore. I do think I prefer a fenced yard as I enjoy my outdoor freedom and love to romp around.
My fosters love the fact that I don’t bark but they do say I have a funny howl, and they think I am talking, yelling or simply saying “I wove you” to them. My current home does not have a doggie; however, they did have one stay for a few days, and we had a blast! If you have a doggie, that would be great, but I am also comfortable hanging on my own with my hoomans. I have found playing with my stuffies is entertaining enough for me.
My foster parents think I am the perfect girl, and I hope you will too when you meet me.
XOXOXO,
Star
