Meet Sophia and Betty!
Bacon and eggs. Macaroni and cheese. Cookie and milk. Some things are just better together and that is certainly the case for these two! Recently released from a life of breeding they are finding out what it means to be cherished members of a family.
Sophia is a toy Aussie who weighs in at 15 pounds and is 8 years old but you’d never guess it! She loves to romp outside, can run up and down the stairs like a champ, and happily spins in a circle when she sees her people! Though not very confident in her new big world she loves to be in the company of her humans and loves their routine at home. She loves to snuggle- and no doubt the sweetest thing she does is run up and roll over for a belly rub.
Betty is a 3 year old toy poodle who weighs about 15 pounds. Betty loves to explore outside…with Sophia. Betty loves to snuggle up with her favorite blanket…with Sophia. You see where we’re going with this…Betty loves Sophia. Life has not been easy for these girls and Betty sees Sophia as her leader, her best friend and her comfort. Betty is sweet, gentle and places her little paw on you when she’d like one more scratch. She’ll continue to grow in confidence with the patience and the help of Sophia.
So what do these two girls need? They need to stay together. They need a physically fenced yard. They need humans who are going to be patient and willing to let them blossom at their own pace. Could they be the peanut butter to your jelly? They can’t wait to find their forever family!
