Sherman is a curious little guy who’s already experienced the full range of Minnesota weather and has decided that being outside is pretty great in every season. Whether he’s exploring the yard or just soaking up the fresh air, Sherman is happiest when he can stretch his legs and take in the world.
Sherman is also a champion napper. Sherman sleeps quietly in his kennel at night and happily heads there for daytime naps too—no fuss, just a quick recharge before he’s ready to play again.
When he’s awake, toys are his love language. Balls, squeakers, crinkle toys, ropes—you name it, Sherman’s a fan. He especially enjoys wrestling and playing with his 100-lb resident dog friend and then rolling over for belly scratches when playtime winds down. Bath time? Surprisingly, also a highlight for him—mostly because it means extra attention.
Sherman is a confident little pup who sometimes likes to act like the “big guy,” but he responds well to guidance and is eager to please. Like many puppies, he will let you know when he’s overtired, but a quick nap in his kennel usually resets him and he’s back to his sweet self.
Sherman is great with the kids in his foster home and seems to think they’re especially fun since they’re closer to his size. Sherman is still figuring out how he feels about other dogs on walks—sometimes he’s excited to meet them, sometimes he’d prefer they admire him from across the street—but he’s learning more every day.
Overall, Sherman is a playful, affectionate pup with a big personality packed into a small body. With lots of love, training, treats and boundaries, he’s going to make a wonderful companion!
