Hi, my name is Sally (aka Missy Mae)! My foster mom says that I’m one of the best dogs on the block; I never make a peep (unless the other dogs are playing without me), I sleep through the night, am a rockstar in my kennel (you won’t hear a peep or find a mess), love wrestling with my foster dog siblings, playing fetch/tug-a-war and I have no problem being independent. I love sunbathing on the deck, will give you space or softly cuddle next to you if you ask. I do not get on the furniture unless invited and I am A- at house training (sometimes my cues are very subtle). I am small, sweet, spunky and gentle. Though I am quiet in the house and happy to lay chewing on a bone, I do need a running partner, fenced yard or acres in the country to run and get my energy out. I would be okay as an only dog, but I would love another dog to play with- playdates work! Despite my breed and what the photos suggest, I am fairly small and won’t grow much more. (I am likely mixed with some miniature Aussie.) If you look closely at my pictures you will see that I have gorgeous salt and pepper legs, a white chest and a white tip tail. My early months were spent with limited human interaction, but after coming to Spot’s I have learned how amazing it is to be loved by you humans - I love this new life! I am ready to be your bestie!
