Meet Sadie!
Sadie is a beautiful young adult yellow lab who came into rescue after being found as a stray. Sadie has come so far in such a short time! Sadie was alone and scared and not quite sure what to make of what and where she was. But now, after a short period of time, Sadie is now sleeping on comfortable dog beds and learning how to walk on a leash and is the sweetest girl. Sadie is the total package- a true lab- technically an adult but still has that playful puppy spirit. Sadie gets along with any dogs she meets and has been great meeting new people too. Though she doesn't seem interested in fetch, she loves to run after her canine foster sister when she runs after a ball. Sadie has a fenced in yard now and it would be great to have one as she continues to build her confidence on the leash. She is learning to walk on a leash but is very fearful of cars driving by, so walks on a trail away from cars are best. We don't know her history with cars, but safe to say it was not a positive one. Sadie is working on house manners like not jumping or chewing on things she shouldn't, but she learns things quickly and will continue to learn with ongoing training. Sadie is a sweetie, and loves her people. She loves to run and play but then is ready to settle down for a long nap near her people on a dog bed or just the floor. Sadie is the best girl and is ready for her forever home!
