Are you looking for a companion that is equal parts chill and active? If yes, then Marshall is your guy! He is a big, loveable puppy waiting to find his forever family. He is loyal, sweet, playful, curious, smart, and fun!
After a long walk or a good run around the yard, he’s perfectly content to relax and nap in his cozy dog bed or chew on a bone. He loves playing with a squeaky toy and doing a dog puzzle too. Marshall is very treat motivated and learned to sit and lay down quickly, so training should be a breeze. He sees the treat bag come out and he sits immediately and then proceeds to lay down desperate to get that treat! He loves his treats!
Marshall is potty trained, sleeps all night in a crate (but can whine a bit during his daytime crate time), rides well in the car and is great with kids and other dogs (even grumpy ones like our resident dog). He walks well on the leash, although he does want to go after rabbits and squirrels when he sees them on his walks. Marshall is learning that cars driving by us on walks are okay. He also is nervous after hearing loud noises, but as we soothe him and tell him he’s safe, he is beginning to understand that loud noises are okay too.
While Marshall is still has some house manners to learn (like not stealing random things off of the floor and running off with them!) and not sniffing counters for food, he is a dream of a dog and anyone would be lucky to have this big guy (his paws are huge so we expect him to be a pretty big dog when he’s done growing) as part of their family.
