When this sweet girl first arrived at her foster home, she was a shadow of the dog she is today. Lacking confidence and unsure of the world, Lyla spent her first days watching from the sidelines. But with a little patience and a lot of love, the "real" Lyla has officially entered the building—and she is spectacular.
Lyla’s Personality-
Lyla has blossomed into a vibrant, soulful companion with a personality that fills the whole room. Once she knows she’s safe, her goofy, energetic side comes out to play! Lyla is the perfect blend of a "velvet hippo" who wants to snuggle and an athlete who is always ready for fun. She is a “friend to all” and enjoys humans, especially dog savvy children.
Lyla is still learning to love “leash walking” and requires a home with a fully fenced backyard so she can appropriately let her energy out! Lyla loves other animals and relies on them to take the lead. Because of this, Lyla requires at least one friendly, confident and patient dog in her forever home. She currently lives with dogs and cats; her favorite foster siblings are an 11 year old cat, four year old pitbull and 8 year old chihuahua.
Lyla is a great listener and quick learner. She enjoys hard chew toys and taking naps alongside her foster siblings. Lyla is fully potty trained and happily eats and sleeps in her kennel.
