I'm ready for my new family!

Hi! My Name Is Lucy

I'm Available

Lucy is a sweet and loving puppy that stole our hearts the moment we met her. She is incredibly affectionate and will be happy to snuggle in bed for hours if there is room for her. If not snuggling you, Lucy will still likely be close by taking a nap. When she isn't sleeping, Lucy enjoys playing fetch in the yard and playing with other dogs her size. She also enjoyed playing in a small kids pool we filled up for her, splashing and putting her ball in the water to play with. Looking at Lucy's large, webbed paws, I think she might be a great swimmer, but she hasn't had the opportunity to visit a lake yet. Lucy loves to sniff, sniff, sniff in the yard and keep it free of critters!

Lucy does extremely well going to the bathroom outside, although at night she can be a little scared of the dark in unfamiliar places. She is smart and already knows how to sit for a treat. She can be a bit cautious meeting people but warms up very quickly. While Lucy will love and snuggle with everyone in the home, she will likely have one special person that she will follow around the house or wait outside doors for.

Lucy is going to be a big dog, but we call her our gentle giant since snuggling and napping are her favorite things. While she likes to play and needs exercise, I expect Lucy to be a bit of a chill, easy going dog.

We hope Lucy is able to find a forever person or family that will give her as much love and happiness as we know she will give them. Lucy is the perfect puppy whose heart is as big as her paws!
