Hi, my name is Gru.
I'm looking for my forever family. I need a family that is patient with me as I learn the layout around me. I am visually impaired. It doesn't stop me from running and wrestling and playing with toys. In fact, most people I meet love the way I boop their face with my nose to check them out. My hearing is excellent. I do a good job tracking my people, even when they try to sneak past me. I love to play with other dogs. Sometimes it takes a minute for other dogs to warm up to me because I get in their personal space and can't read their social queues like dogs with all their sight can. I'm fostered with cats. I love to play with just about any toy and to chew on bones. I am very food motivated. In fact, it didn't take long for me to learn to push a button to have my food dispensed. Now I wish my foster family would set the dispenser to let more than just a few pieces out at a time. I am doing great when kenneled. I stay in my kennel and am quiet all night, with the exception of the occasional sleepover in a human bed. Then, I like to sleep right up against the human. I love going for walks and am doing great when leashed. If you are looking for a special guy to share adventures and love with, I might be the one you're looking for.
