Carmie is a 3-year-old Shepherd mix with a heart full of love and a deep devotion to her people. She is a total cuddlebug who thrives on human companionship—whether snuggling on the couch or just hanging out at home, Carmie loves to be with her humans.
Carmie needs to be the only pet in a home where she can soak up all the love. She is well-trained, highly intelligent, and eager to please—she knows multiple commands, rings a bell to go outside, and has successfully completed professional training. While she is house-trained and well-behaved indoors, she can be reactive on a leash and needs an owner willing to continue working with her.
Carmie is playful, affectionate, and goofy. She is incredibly silly—she sometimes falls off the couch from getting too relaxed, enjoys playing with her human teenage sisters, and has some of the best ears in the world. Carmie does best with a secure yard, as she’s been known to climb a 4-foot fence in pursuit of adventure.
