Meet Bambi! This beautiful 3 year old whippet mix had a difficult road to rescue but she’s a true testament to what a little love can do- and now she’s ready for her forever family!
Bambi is thriving in a foster home with another dog and a fenced yard. A home like this would be ideal for Bambi. She loves to show off her whippet speed and true to her namesake runs just like a baby deer! She loves her stuffed toys and though a little shy to meet new people and dogs- once comfortable she loves them all. Bambi currently lives with children and adores them however quick, sudden movements and loud noises can startle her so a home with older, dog savvy children is be best.
Bambi has almost perfected her house-training and is learning to love her crate. She is smart, eager to please and food motivated! She will be the perfect addition to a home that has good dog experience and can provide a balance of structure and snuggles!
