Meet Archie -
If you are looking for a sweet little lap dog, Arch is your guy! Archie is a bit shy when he first meets new people but once he warms up, he will steal your heart forever. He currently lives in a foster home with 3 other dogs and looks to them to help him understand what to do. Therefore, Archie need to be in a home with another dog to help him get settled in and comfortable. Archie LOVES to snuggle. His foster parents are currently his favorite people, and he wants to be with them at all times, preferably snuggling on their lap or getting pets. His tail wiggles so hard his entire body wiggles when he gets to spend time with his people and foster fur-siblings. Archie loves a good afternoon snuggling on the couch, it's probably his favorite activity. He also really likes to go on walks and walks so proud with each step. He behaves well in a crate while his foster parents are not home. He just prefers if he can see his foster fur-siblings while he is in his crate as he doesn't love being by himself. He is working on perfecting his house training and almost there but would love a family that is patient with him as he continues his training. The key to Archie's heart is love, walks, and treats. While his people are up and about around the house, he will be right by their side making sure he is there to see what they are up to wagging his tail and waiting for a pet here and there. The second life slows down for the day, and everyone is able to sit down and relax; Archie will be curled up right next to them snuggled in tight. As he is still a bit timid with some new situations, Archie would probably love a calm home and do best with older children. Archie is ready to be your new best friend and looking for his forever home for the holidays! Could that be you?
