Meet Ruth!

Ruth is going to make someone a very happy dog pawrent! She loves people, snuggles, squeaky toys, and PLAY!  She loves playing with the resident dogs, but sometimes she gets a little over excited and doesn’t pick up on their hints that they are done playing. However, Ruth is VERY smart, and learning how to “dog” quickly.  She plays very nicely with the 15 lb resident dog and loves to play rough with the big resident dog. 

Ruth is  fully house trained (no accidents!) and knows sit, kennel, go upstairs, and is quickly mastering lie down and give. This girl lives for affection, and you don’t even need treats to teach her!  She will sleep all night in her crate with no noise or in your bed if you’re so inclined.  Ruth is also learning very quickly that the best way to get pets is by being calm and sitting. She walks nicely on a leash and would make a great running partner.   A securely fenced yard would be best for this girls she can play and romp around to her hearts content. 

Being a shepherd mix, Ruth enjoys exercise and work.  She would make an excellent exercise partner but also enjoys lounging on the couch after a good play session.  Ruth is looking for that home that will train her, spend time with her and exercise her.
