Meet Champ! He really could just as well be named "Happy" as Champ is such an upbeat, cheerful dog to be around. He will make it easy on his new owners - he's potty trained, adaptable, and not anxious or timid around people or other dogs. He's 50 pounds with a cute blaze of white on his chest, perky ears, and soulful eyes that make you melt. Champ is smart - he's learning quickly what's expected of him in the house as well as obedience commands. Champ now sits proactively when anticipating something and keeps all four paws on the floor when greeting you. Champ is eager to keep learning and to please his people. Playing fetch, chew bones and romping the snow are some of Champs favorite things and, of course, belly rubs! He loves to snuggle and cuddle and has learned how to lay quietly when his people are busy elsewhere. He's a great car traveler and adjusts easily to new environments. Overall, Champ will make a wonderful addition to his forever family - he's curious without being timid, social without being needy, playful like a puppy without being destructive or overwhelming, and loving but understands boundaries.
