Look at this handsome boy, Hans! Hans is a 3 month old lab mix with a beautiful, shiny black coat and the silkiest ears. Hans is friendly and affectionate with other people and dogs. He is being fostered with a littermate and loves to wrestle and run around with her, and then cuddle up with her for a good long nap. Hans is interested in the older dogs in his foster home, and wishes they would play with him more. He can be nervous in new situations, but adapts quickly. Approximate date of birth 6/14/25; weight 16 lbs. He will probably be a large dog when fully grown
Crate training – sleeps quietly in the kennel all night and periodically during the day. Has already learned to run to the kennel for a treat at bedtime
House breaking – goes when taken outside, but does not yet signal when he needs to go. He is not used to walking on a leash yet, so he will either need a fenced yard, or an adopter with the patience to help him learn
Kid friendly – yes! He loves little people. He can be protective of his food or treats, so will need to be watched carefully with small children

Favorite activities – wrestling with his sister, playing with a stuffed toy or chew toy, snuggling with humans
