Come join Spot’s Last Stop at the ECO Expo Family Fun Zone, hosted by the Eden Prairie AM Rotary Club, in Center Court of Eden Prairie Center on April 20th from 10am to 12pm. We will have a group of our cutest and most ADOPTABLE rescue canines for you and your family to meet, as well as Spot’s volunteers giving out information about fostering and adoption.
Spot’s works with partners in the Southern United States and local shelters to pull dogs set for euthanasia into our foster homes. Spot’s Last Stop has a central mission of animal welfare, requiring all rescue canines adopted through our rescue to be spayed or neutered. This reduces the stray and exploding canine population, which in turn reduces the stress on our public spaces and collective resources.
Recently, Spot’s Last Stop was able to donate 3 dog waste stations to the City of Prior Lake for their Parks, which ensures that our beautiful nature spaces stay pristine and minimize the effects of dogs on the environment! Read here about this effort.
