Hey friends, I’m Dilly but my foster mom calls me fluffernutter. Once you feel my incredibly soft, fluffy fur, you’ll understand why!
I am a happy, spunky, fun-loving shepherd mix boy. Some of my favorite things are playing outside and running around, so a fenced yard would be really great for me so I can continue to explore as much as I want! I also LOVE to play with toys. I really like toys that make noises (I am drawn to jingly cat toys for some reason but come on, those bells just sound so awesome as I chase them!) and I like to chase tennis balls but my foster sisters are faster than me, so I don’t usually get to them first. Bones are a close second to toys. I can chew on those bad boys all day long.
I’m trying hard to learn to potty outside but darnit it’s been cold! I will still go outside in the snow and cold because my fluffy fur keeps me warm, but my foster mom doesn’t last as long as me (this is her fault). I have mastered pottying on the potty pads perfectly and I do go potty outside right away in the morning when I’m let out. I’m a pretty smart boy, I already know how to sit for my food and my favorite treat (ice cubes), so I know once I can get outside more regularly I will pick it up in a snap.
I enjoy playing with my foster dog sisters and enjoy playing with people as well, including the two older kids who live with me! I like to play and have fun so I would probably do better with kids who aren’t really tiny because I sometimes get the zoomies and man, am I fast! Also, I like cats. Like, I REALLY REALLY like them. Too much. So, there probably shouldn’t be any of those because my mom says they don’t like me back. Their loss!
Well, that’s a bit about me! I can’t wait to meet you soon!
