Chase

Shepherd Mix

male · 11.5 Months · medium

Hi, my name is Chase.  I am a 4.5 month-old male, medium size, mixed breed pup weighing about 20lbs.    I am a fun, energetic, loving, cuddly, smart pup who is busy working on my training.  I know sit, stay for my food and I’ve got potty training down pat.  I enjoy getting rewarded with treats when I follow directions. I know I would benefit from more training.  I hope you enjoy taking walks because I am a great leash walker and go on 2 to 3 walks a day.  I don’t pull, chase squirrels or bark at other dogs or humans.  Speaking of other dogs and humans, I am a big fan of both! After a slow introduction to other pups, I soon become a good play buddy and take cues very well.  As for humans, I truly LOVE everyone.  My tail is a wag’n anytime I see a person, big or small.  I am gentle with the little tikes and enjoy the pets and belly rubs.

I currently do not have a resident dog sharing my foster family; however, I have been on play dates with my fosters’ grand pup.  We get along great!  I would be happy with another pup in my furever home to play with, but I would also be happy going to dog parks and having puppy play dates.  A fenced yard is nice as I do enjoy running around, but not necessary since I enjoy walks so much.  Chew toys and bones are great to keep me busy while my foster parents work.  I am very good at entertaining myself. Another thing I enjoy is little naps throughout the day.  I don’t usually take them in my kennel but when my fosters need to run out, I don’t mind spending time in there.  I do enjoy cuddling with my foster parents before bedtime but once they are ready for bed, so am I. I go into my kennel without any fuss and fall right to sleep.

I am smart, friendly, and loving and I know I will be an awesome addition to a loving family.  If you will play, train, walk and love me, I am the pup for you and would love to meet you!

XOXOXO,

Chase
