Hi I’m Summer,

There is more to me than just my big, beautiful, brown eyes, ya know… I love to snuggle, play outside, lay out on the deck, run around with my resident dog, chew on toys and bones, and go for walks. My favorite walks right now are walks down quiet trails – on one trail I found a new love for splashing around in shallow water! (Who knows? Maybe I’ll be a lake dog!) Although I enjoy walking through my current neighborhood too, once in awhile I’ll see something weird, like a kid on a double scooter, and I’ll stop dead in my tracks and think, “What the hekkk?!” I am already getting used to all the weird things humans do on the streets but I need continued exposure and patience.

I am great in my crate but at night I prefer to be crated in my human’s bedroom, at least until I become comfortable in my new home. Did I mention people always tell me how sweet I am?

I’m working hard to learn a few things like potty training, walking on a leash, and some simple commands- I love learning and am excited to continue training and obedience classes with you. I am a puppy so I also need someone to take me for regular walks or play around in a back yard with me so I can get all my puppy energy out! I promise, we will have so much fun!…I’ll even thank you with snuggles and kisses after!
