Hi!  I’m Smirk.  I’ve had a great time since arriving in Minnesota with my mama and my siblings.  I’ve learned how to climb stairs, play with some foster puppies, go outside to do my business in my yard.  I can even ring the dog bells on the door handle.

I’ve been kennel training.  I sleep in my kennel, and spend time in there when my adults can’t watch me full time.  I’m getting lots of good food & sleep.  Listen carefully and you can hear me snoring.

Doggone it!  I love the dogs I live with right now.  I have fun play fighting with my Borador brother, but my Beagle brother likes to keep some distance from me- I am a puppy and I love to play but I do respect him.

My human foster brothers are 8 and 16 years old.  The 8 year old loves to pet me and I am learning not to use my puppy mouth- I love bones and chews which help me.

Yeah, I get what “Uh-uh-uh” means…I drop to the ground, or don’t grab a towel hanging off the stove.  I’m so learning!!!

My foster doggie brothers & I love to sit around the kitchen and chew on bully sticks.  It’s really our favorite parallel play activity.

I love to jump and play!  Sticks are fun, did you know that???  Sometimes when I jump to get a stick from my foster dad, I just tumble and fall on my puppy butt. They all think it’s hilarious.

I hear I’m laid back, sweet and pretty obedient, pretty mellow for a puppy.  I love to roll on my back for belly rubs.  Sometimes I grunt and groan when people do that to me, it feels so good.  When my right ear gets rubbed my back leg starts kicking.  I don’t know why.

I am a really good, happy and smart puppy who is excited to continue learning, living with boundaries and going on adventure with you.  I am ready to find my forever home in time for the holidays!
