Hi everyone. My name is Sam! My foster family calls me Sammy. I took my freedom ride to Minnesota to find my forever home. I guess the story is that I was found with my sister in a briar thicket (whatever that is) in Alabama. A nice lady found me and gave me a home until I could come here to find my forever family. I really like to play with the three resident dogs I’m living with. I’m very good at social skills and I stay calm around the one’s that don’t like me to jump on them. For that reason, I would be fine in a home with or without another dog. I’m gonna turn this over to my foster mom now. She likes to brag about me.
Sammy is a playful, but calm little guy. He is crate trained during the night and spends periods of time in the crate if I am running errands or away from the house. We are working on potty training. He hasn’t had any poop accidents in the house, but potty; we are still working on. Sammy loves to snuggle in your lap and in true puppy fashion likes to play with any kind of squeaky toy. Although Sammy is teething right now, he does not nip on any of us. Therefore, I think he would be gentle with kids over 3 years old. I almost forgot to mention his coat. He has the softest fur ever — just like silk! Could Sammy be your forever pup?
