Are you looking for a go-with-the-flow, adorable and snuggly best friend to add to your family? Look no further, Robin (aka “Miss Honey”) is the gal for you!
Things about me you might like to know:
Breed: Sharpei/Terrier Mix
Color: Tan/Black
Size: 45 pounds
Age: Approximately 3 years
Activity level: Low/Medium
Things I do in my free time: I am a pretty chill girl, I spend most of my day relaxing. I am easily entertained watching the squirrels run along the fence in the yard or chillin’ on the porch in the sun. Content chewing on a Kong or chew bone. The more indestructible the better.
Things I know: I know how to sit for treats. I have basic house manners, and I respond well if I am corrected.
Things I am working on: I could use basic training. I am learning not to jump on my human friends when I meet them. I am also learning that I do not have to lick my human friends when I get excited. I need help realizing that the vacuum is not my enemy, I do try to go after it. For the most part my foster mom thinks I am pretty close to perfection.
Kennel: I currently stay in a gated room at times when my foster family is at work. I love to sleep on my big cozy doggie bed. Word of warning, I do like to chew the stuffing out of toys and dog beds. As long as the dog bed has a blanket over it I will leave it alone. I am not kenneled at night.
Potty training: Bonus! I am 100% potty trained. The home I am currently in uses a fenced yard.
Kids: I currently am in a house with two older teenagers. Older respectful children would be fine for me.
Dogs: I currently live in a house with on middle aged large breed male dog. I would be fine living with or without another dog.
Cats: Unknown
Car Rides: I am a great passenger, no car sickness for me. I love to ride in the passenger seat with my doggie seatbelt!
Walking: I do great on leash. I do pull if I see a squirrel. I would love a walk a day, although there have been days when my foster mom is busy and I get along fine without it. She just makes sure I get some good play time outside.
What to expect when you adopt me: You can expect to spend your days with a loyal, super cute best friend. Transitioning into my forever home should be smooth sailing!
Additional information: I came to Minnesota from Texas. I was stuck in a shelter with 24 hours left of my life. Some amazing people knew that I was a very good girl and worked hard to get me out of the shelter into rescue. Thanks to “Spots Last Stop Canine Rescue” I am getting the chance to find my furever home.
Bully breeds and unaltered puppies can not be adopted out of the State of Minnesota.
