Are you looking for a sweet, affectionate, fun-loving pup to add to your family? Well, Minni is the gal for you! One glance into her eye’s and she will have your heart.
Things about me you might like to know:
Breed: Mix
Color: Black(with brindle undertones) and white. My foster mom thinks the white on my chest looks like angel wings.
Size: 10-15 pounds
Activity level: Medium
Things I do in my free time: I love to explore in the backyard, follow my foster brothers around, play with toys or chew bones and take naps. I am a nester, I like multiple blankets to fluff and tug on before I lay down to nap. I am happiest when I get to snuggle on the couch with my humans. I am a good independent player and am so well behaved. Belly rubs are a must for me!
Things I know: Sit. I respond to my human family if they give me a signal to let me know I need to redirect myself.
Things I am working on: Basic commands, leash walking and not begging for human food.
Kennel: I currently spend time in my kennel only when my foster family is out of the house. I am not a fan of going in it and will cry for a bit when I first go on, I am progressively getting more tolerant.
Potty training: I am doing so well on potty training! I have only had one accident in the house since I have been in my foster home.
Kids: I currently live with teenagers (ages 14 and 16). I am sure I would be good with any age of children, just keep in mind that as a puppy I do like to use my mouth sometimes when I play.
Dogs: I currently live with two large dogs. I am sometimes intimidated by them and their style of play. When I play with the neighbor dog who is smaller I can let loose and have some fun playing chase. I have been responsive to their signals.
Cats: I have been around cats and am curious.
Car Rides: I do great on car rides, no crying or motion sickness.
Walking: I am learning leash walking. I still need some confidence and positive reinforcement. A no slip harness is a must for me because I like to go in reverse sometimes.
Fun Facts: When I snuggle I like to make cute little grunting noises. Sometimes when I play with my toys you might hear me getting sassy, barking, growling and talking to them.
What to expect when you adopt me: My personality is pretty low key and go with the flow for a puppy. I can be a bit timid when I first meet you. I am submissive, although I have a little side of sass.
Additional information: I came up to Minnesota from Alabama with my brother and sister who look nothing like me(Buddy and Rory). I cannot wait to find my forever family!!
Bully breeds and unaltered puppies can not be adopted out of the State of Minnesota.
