Hi, my name is Gary.  I am a 6-month-old male Shorkie (Shitzu/Yorkie).  I am a small guy weighing under 10lbs. Even though I am tiny, I am full of puppy energy, love to be active and love hugs and kisses. And yes, I really am THIS cute and cuddly! 

As for my energy level, well, I am a ball of fun.  I love to play with my toys, with my fosters or just by myself.  Running around the backyard is awesome and so much fun.  I currently have a fenced yard and it would be a bonus if you had one too but going to doggie parks or having puppy play dates would suit me just fine.  After playing and running around, I enjoy my nap time.  Speaking of sleep, I love a good night’s sleep in my kennel.  Once I am down for the night, I am good for 7 to 8 hours without a peep.

I have not had a lot of training before meeting my fosters as my previous living situation was tough.  I am a smart pup and will pick up things quickly.  I am working hard on my potty training and am doing my best to give my fosters signals.  I think I would love to learn some fun tricks as my fosters think I am crazy with all my spinning around. I am not used to walking on a leash, but my fosters get me out daily to help me get used to it. I think over time, I will do smashingly on walks. So far, my fosters have not heard my voice which they seem to appreciate.  I don’t bark at other dogs or people.  Speaking of other dogs, yes, I love, love them.  I have been around a few dogs and none that I have not loved.  I also have not found a human that I do not like.  Little humans just need to be careful with me as I am tiny but also full of spunk.
