Hi! I’m Piper!

The start of my life was in a crowded shelter but I was rescued and am ready to find my forever family.

I am a young girl but almost perfect in the house and in my crate. I know that I need to go potty outside and get a treat when I come in! I sleep all night in my crate and am crated intermittently throughout the day. I go right in and settle almost immediately. Sometimes when my foster family leaves the house I cry a little …just to tell them I’m going to miss them! But then I snuggle in and take a nap.

I’m fostered with 2 other canine friends. I love to romp with them and they are excellent teachers. I’m learning how to follow cues from other dogs, share my toys, all the dog things! I would love to find a home with other canine friends but with great socialization I could also be your one and only sweetheart! I also live with 3 human children and I adore them! I sometimes get a little excited and jumpy when they’re around so older, dog savvy children would be best.

Have you ever been on a walk? I love walks! My foster mom says I’m doing a great job learning to walk on leash. I politely watch other humans and dogs go by when I’m not busy smelling all the smells. My other favorite things are tennis balls and bones- so my forever home should have a steady supply or those!

Things I will need in my forever home: structure, boundaries, and training! I’m treat motivated and so eager to please do training will be a blast!
