Hi- I am Petey-

Calling all cuddle bugs!  I don’t want to brag but I have quite an impressive resume for a 7 month old.   I am great with people of all ages as well as dogs.   Did I mention I am fully house trained and kennel trained?  I know how to sit and am food motivated so I think I could pick up on some new commands and tricks in a snap but I am still a puppy so I have lots to learn.  When I get excited I love to jump on people and word on the street is they don’t love that so we are working on that.   I love to play with toys and other pups and while a home with another dog would be the bee’s knees, I would be ok to be your one and only- as long as we have a lot of playdates with other dogs to keep me well socialized.  I really like to be close to my people and stick pretty close to them most of the time.   Sometimes I am sound asleep and I hear my foster mom get up to do something or go to another room and I get up to join her because I don’t want to miss anything fun or exciting.  She thinks it is cute that I follow her everywhere.   I think it would be really cool if my new mom or dad worked from home and I could chill with them while they worked because I am happiest and most content when my family is around.  I do great in my kennel at night and sleep without making a peep as long as I am kenneled in the same room as you because I get scared and lonely when I can’t see or hear you.  Don’t get me wrong, I would be more than happy to sleep in bed with you if you’ll let me, but I’m a good boy in my kennel.  I am a little shy and timid when I meet new people but I warm up VERY quickly once I get to know you.  New things and noises still startle me but I am getting more and more confident every day.   I should mention my foster mom thinks I would be best in a household without cats because I think they are awesome and I love to chase them!  I mean who wouldn’t, I just can’t help myself.  And aren’t I so handsome?  I have the best coloring and one blue eye and one brown!  I just really want to be someone’s forever companion and cuddle bug because there is nothing I love more than being with my family.  My foster parents say I am a very special boy and will make someone very happy.   Fill out an application and come meet me, you won’t be disappointed!
