Meet Oscar!

This pup’s scruffy mug matches well with his old man personality. Oscar is pretty chill for being just 15 weeks old. Make no mistake – he has all the qualities of your average dog-toddler. They just seem to come in smaller doses. He can still be mouthy if he gets excited and is working on keeping all four on the floor. Something to carefully consider if you have smaller children.  He likes to be outside, prefers running to walking, and loves to sniff all the things. Oscar does pretty well on a leash for his age but the whole idea of walking in a straight line is a bit of a work in progress.  He enjoys chewing on bones and can entertain himself with a toy while his foster mom works at home. Oscar is working on this potty training thing with success – most “oopsies” could probably be blamed on his people for missing the signs. Oscar approves of the floor for naps just about as much as he likes a dog bed and can be a bit of a couch hog during family movie nights.  He sleeps all night in his crate without protest but is still working on daytime incarceration – but he’s making excellent progress. Oscar started out in full objection of car rides but with short trips around town they seem to be getting easier for him. No more vocal gymnastics – which is great for the safety of all drivers and passengers. This little dude will be a wonderful companion or family dog. If you’d like to meet Oscar, he’s ready to make your acquaintance!
