Meet Mini-

Mini is a gorgeous girl with super expressive ears, great coloring, and interesting light brown eyes. She is super smart, curious, energetic, but settles down nicely.  Mini is quiet in her crate and her leash skills are good.  She loves walks, and does a good job ignoring distractions, and/or taking direction to leave-it.  If you stop while out on a walk, she sits down readily, or just quietly stands there.  Mini likes rawhides, rope toys, and stuffed toys.  She loves people and is animal friendly.  She is interested in the resident cat, but she hasn’t been allowed unsupervised playtime at this point.  She sits on command, responds to back, leave it and wait.  Mini is a pleaser -she so wants to make sure you love her!  She will be a superstar in any obedience class.  She is a great dog, but she definitely needs an alpha owner.  She is not an alpha, but she really needs firm, clear, benevolent direction to keep her mind busy, and help her understand what’s expected of her. I’m not sure what her mix is, but behaviorally, she seems like a working dog….ie needs to be know what to do & when to do it.  She will fall into whatever routine you establish for her, but would probably be best with a more active person. She would be a great hiking/camping partner.  Her current routine is a good morning walk, she’s crated for the workday.  After work, we go for anther walk, have dinner, do some training, outdoor play time. After outdoor play time, I give her a few toys and she plays/wrestles with the toys for a while, and then falls asleep on her toys.  Every evening Mini spends time wiggling around on her back, making piggy noises and tossing her toys about the room.  It’s hilarious. At bedtime, she goes to her crate where she sleeps quietly.  Mini is a sweet and special girl that will warm you heart and make you laugh.
