Meet Merlin!

Merlin is a stud muffin, always perfectly posed for a photo and just a little man at about 25 pounds! This poor boy had a hard start to life, he was rescued from a muddy pen eating food that looked to have been thrown in and drinking muddy water. He hit the jackpot when his rescue angles plucked him out of there!  He went through heartworm treatment and had cataract surgery in Alabama before making his Minnesota freedom ride up north. Let me tell you – he will never look back and he is excited to find his forever!

Merlin is very loving and snuggling is one of his favorite hobbies, if he notices another fur baby in the house is getting love he will come running to make sure he can get some too. He also likes getting a good stretch and scratch in throughout the day. Merlin will roll on the rug side to side and rub up against the couch or deck railing walking down, turn around and do it all over again. He has picked up some fun tricks like sit, wait, laydown and up. Merlin has also learned to go into his kennel when grabbing the food dishes for mealtime. He has no problem sharing his home with the cats or resident dog, he is occasionally playful with his foster sister and will run outside or wrestle but overall is good just doing his own thing. Merlin has absolutely perfect house manners.  Merlin has been on many adventures in his current home, he is amazing on a leash and prefers to be on the right. He has been a good walking, hiking, and brewery buddy – of course looking at strangers to see if he can sneak in some “loving!”

Merlin would do best in a home with a strong leader that can continue to teach him boundaries and provide structure. He can get a bit anxious at times so someone patient willing to help him is needed, because of this a home without small children would be preferred. Will you be the one to take this stud muffin home?
