Meet Lotus! She is a happy and healthy 9 year old lady, who has the most gentle and sweet soul.

Her humans have failed her twice in her life despite her doing everything right. And even so, she holds no grudges. Her favorite thing is humans. She loves them all and wants to be close by whenever she can.

Lotus is housetrained, sleeps all night, has excellent house manners, and is a perfect medium size at about 40 pounds. She likes to explore in the fenced yard (but doesn’t require it).  She loves treats, other dogs, belly rubs, everyone she meets, and lying in the sun. She likes to chase a ball, but she won’t pick it up or bring it back – so better to have a bucket full!! Lotus also loves a walk! She hasn’t had a lot of opportunity to walk on leash in life, but she’s figuring it out!  She is generally a little bit confused as to why her life is flipped upside down again, but she has adjusted well.

She is currently fostered with another (non-playful) dog. Lotus would like to play sometimes, but is very respectful of her doggy foster sister and lets her have her space without any complaints. She loves her foster humans (all of them equally) and spends her days lying near whichever one she can find.

Lotus knows there is a home out there that she never has to leave, where she can retire to her happily ever after. All she really needs is a place to sleep and a whole bunch of love, and she’ll take care of the rest.  Lotus deserves the very best!
