Are you ready for Joey!

This guy is awesome- so much fun, so happy and ready to party!  Joey is social, friendly, curious, active and affectionate.  He loves playing with his large St Bernard resident pup and tries to look up to her for what to do most of the time. Joey is a little unsure of some dog things and what is expected of him but he so badly wants to please.  Joey also resides with 3 resident adult cats that he enjoys playing with and usually only chases when they run away. Joey’s favorite thing (besides playing with his big buddy) is playing catch with balls outside!!  He is a baseball player at heart!  Chewing on his peanut butter bones and snuggling are close seconds.   Joey is very treat motivated and is working on sit and down.   It’s a work in progress, but we have faith he can figure it out.  Joey is a snuggle bug to the max and loves to be in your lap, especially in the evenings when he is tired. His kisses are the best!!!  Joey loves his people and is working on being ok in a kennel when people are around.  Joey has been introduced to multiple people from outside his foster house, he is hesitant at first but  warms up quickly.  Joey is still trying to figure out teenagers (aren’t we all) and is a little timid around them.  He loves to meet other pups and I think that he would be great with another puppy friend but he does well by himself too as long as he has opportunities to socialize with dogs and exercise.  Joey is working on walking on the leash but with all the sights and sounds it is a work in progress.  A fenced yard would be best for him.

Joey is a fun loving active pup who is looking for a home that is ready for a wonderful, fun and loving boy!
