Hooch is a 3 year old, 45 lb bull dog mix that came to MN from an overcrowded shelter. From the instant he hopped into the car for his freedom ride he has been nothing but a joy. Every time you enter the room you are greeted with whole body Hooch wiggles just waiting for you give him a scratch. He watches his humans adoringly- so grateful to be safe and loved. And? He sleeps with a smile on his face. We know. You can’t handle it. Neither can we!

Hooch currently lives with another dog and is the perfect, playful gentleman but he would also enjoy being the only canine in the house. He also lives with 3 human children and does wonderfully- he would do very well in a home with school aged and above, respectful children. His foster home doesn’t have any cats so unknown in that department.

Hooch is always eager to go on walks (and is a pro on leash!) and play in the yard in his foster home but there is absolutely nothing that he loves more than to snuggle up next to his human and watch whatever Netflix show they are currently binging. Complete couch potato!

He does well in his crate overnight and intermittently during the day but likely doesn’t need to be crated. He’ll just be stretched out on his dog bed waiting for you to get home!

Hooch did come into his foster home with some patchy fur but even in a short time with the good nutrition and a little love there has been huge improvement.
