Meet Hoagie, a loving and happy-go-lucky Rottskie mix looking for his furever home.

Hoagie is a handsome 2-year-old boy with the trademark black and tan Rottweiler coat and eyebrows (you know the ones!). He is a medium-sized dog with a muscular build. In short, Hoagie is a thick boy!

Hoagie is a friendly and social dog who loves to be around people and other dogs. He is very affectionate and gives ALL the kisses. He’s grateful to be rescued and thoroughly enjoys taking in all the things being in a home can offer him. Hoagie gets along well with all dogs of different breeds, sizes and ages. You will find Hoagie is fairly quiet in his demeanor. Hoagie talks occasionally, but isn’t much of a barker.

This sweet boy is house-trained, crate-trained, and knows basic commands like sit, stay, and come. Hoagie is definitely food driven, so give him treats and he will listen to just about anything you ask.  Training classes will be a blast. He is also an active dog who loves to run and play, so a home with a fenced yard would be ideal. Luckily, we live in Minnesota, because Hoagie  absolutely loves the snow. He loves being outside more than indoors but give him snow to roll around in, and he’s in heaven (but here’s hoping we are done for the year!). Hoagie is an equal toy opportunist. He enjoys them all but prefers playing with his buddies.

Hoagie is looking for a family who will give him the love and attention he deserves, and he will graciously return the love.
