Meet Dottie-
Look at this beautiful cattle dog girl! Dottie arrived on a transport from Alabama in early 2020 and was adopted shortly after. Through no fault of her own, she finds herself back in rescue and is looking for her forever family. Dottie is a very sweet girl that would thrive in an active home. Typical to her cattle dog nature, she can be quite energetic and would prefer a home with a fenced in back yard and/or an active family who likes to take long walks, hikes, fetch, or farm work. Dottie also loves curling up with her people on the couch and snuggling in for pets. Dottie listens very well and is super smart! Dottie knows many tricks, including but not limited to: sit, stay, “okay” (to release the stay command), come, lay down, shake, kennel, place, and “tell me about it” (speak (where she howls with enthusiasm). She loves to play and her favorite toy is her stuffed squirrel squeaky toy. Dottie has lived with other dogs and cats and has done well; she tends to be relatively indifferent to cats, and will find any excuse she can to play with dogs in the home. On walks and in other dog-populated areas, Dottie stays focused on her people and tends to ignore other dogs. This girl is a ham and will do anything for the attention of a human. She loves people and has done well with children-she would prefer a home with older or more respectful children who can give her space when she needs it. Dottie will keep you active, laughing and loving- she is a doll and is ready to be our bestie.
Bully breeds and unaltered puppies can not be adopted out of the State of Minnesota.
