Once she gets over her nervousness of meeting someone new, she is incredibly sweet, goofy and playful. When she isn’t playing with toys or wrestling with her foster siblings, she loves to be loved on. Her favorite thing in the whole world is cuddling up under the covers with you and by morning is sharing your pillow. She loves to be held tight and when most dogs would squirm to get away, she just melts into your hugs and soaks it all in for as long as you will hold her.  If you have another dog who doesn’t appreciate your hugs, Millie will gladly soak them up!

She gets excited to go for walks and loves the leash because she knows it’s time for a walk. She will not run off so once we get to the hiking trails she doesn’t need to be leashed as she will always stay close. A trade-off for being timid is that she does NOT need a fenced-in yard as she has no desire to run off. She runs out to potty and romps with the other dogs then is always eager to come back in.

She is definitely still a puppy so with some patience and training, Millie will blossom into a really well-adjusted pup. She requires a home with at least one fur sibling and the more the merrier!  She is really smart and learns very quickly from other dogs. It’s been so rewarding watching her grow from a scared puppy into a very sweet, fun-loving dog.  She would do great with any dog, small or large, and since she is naturally submissive she looks to the other dogs for her social cues.  She doesn’t even mind it when other dogs eat out of her food dish. She really could not be any sweeter.

It will be the biggest reward of your life to help this girl grow into her confident self.  Who is up to this sweet challenge? You will get paid in puppy kisses and hugs every day while helping this fuzzy-faced girl go from a sad,neglected life to living her best life with you!
