Meet Dooley!

Dooley is a 1 year old lab mix who has grown up in rescue and is hoping to find his forever family!

Dooley is a gentle giant with an old soul and has the sweetest personality you will ever encounter. A few things you’ll want to know about this wonderful boy:

-Personality? Very reserved- Dooley has come a long way in rescue but he’s very wary of humans and it takes him time to come to trust them. He is very sweet and loving to his humans once he knows them.

-House manners? Great! Dooley is potty trained and only chews on canine approved toys.

-Crate? Dooley knows his crate is a safe place and when he’s uncertain he likes to observe from the safety of his crate. He will be very successful continuing this in his forever home.

-Treat motivated? Well of course- he’s a lab!

-Toys? He loves to play with them, squeak them and shred them!

-Other dogs? Yes please! Dooley adores other dogs and has attended daycare, has met many dogs in rescue and lives with a resident dog. Dooley LOVES dogs! Not only does he love to romp but even more importantly, he trusts them. He follows their lead and will require another dog in his forever home.

-Walks? Dooley is a dream to walk- often you forget he’s even with you! He doesn’t pull and happily goes on several walks a day in his foster home.

Dooley is a very special boy- he has so much love to give and is eager to continue blossom in his forever home. To set him up for success Dooley will require another dog, a physically fenced yard, and humans that are willing to be patient and give him the time that he needs to adjust to their home.
