If you are looking for a snuggly companion who likes shorts walks and long naps, Dani is the girl for you!
Dani is 1.5 years old, spayed, and weighs about 42 pounds. This adorable black and white bully has an interesting mark on her side that can look like a seahorse or a giraffe’s head. Here’s some details about sweet Dani:
- Training – she is housebroken and kennel trained. Dani is in the kennel when her family leaves the house, but we aren’t sure if she really needs to be. She could use additional training to learn basic commands.
- Other animals – she is currently fostered with two other dogs and gets along great with them, after a careful introduction. She loves to wrestle and play with them, and then curls up next to them for a nap. She was cat tested in Alabama, and was reported to have no interest in chasing the cat.
- People – this girl has never met a stranger. Dani will climb into any willing lap and lay her head on your shoulder. She is a favorite with everyone in her foster family. She has been to a taproom several times and loves soaking up all the attention. Dani has not met many children, but because of her gentle demeanor, we think she would be just fine with them.
- Activity – she get the occasional zoomies, but generally does best with a moderate amount of activity. She loves a good sniff walk, which does not have to be very long. Dani does not pull on the leash, but can be hard to move if she finds a food smell.
- Health -She is currently being treated with anti-inflammatories for a luxating patella. She has a slight limp after exerting herself. Her x-rays have been reviewed by a veterinary orthopedist and they confirmed that while she may need these meds for occasional flare ups, this is a condition she can live with and be healthy.
- Barking – minimal – usually only barks when the other dogs in her foster home bark first.
Dani is an incredibly sweet, gentle and entertaining dog, who is soaking up the good life after a rough start in Alabama. We think she would be a great addition to almost any home.
Bully breeds and unaltered puppies can not be adopted out of the State of Minnesota.
