This scrumptious double cut pork chop is Ike, and he’s just about the sweetest puppy we’ve ever met.   Ike is 15 weeks old and about 27 pounds, so he will be a big guy, but he will definitely be a gentle giant.

Ike has been in his foster home for a week, and is doing great!  He is social, playful and affectionate, loves belly rubs, and he’s not a barker!  He loves to play with other dogs, and comes and stares at his humans with his adorable puppy eyes until he gets some pets.

Here’s some important information about Ike:

• Training – working hard on potty training.  He is great about going when you take him outside, but has an occasional accident inside.  He sleeps quietly in his kennel all night or for shorter periods during the day.  He’s currently being kenneled with a littermate, so he may have a new adjustment period to the kennel once they are separated.  He is doing well with leash walking, but will need more training in this area.
• Socialization – Ike has been to breweries and social events, and is a total rockstar!  He is friendly and eager to meet people and dogs of all ages.  Although he is kid-friendly, he would be best with older kids due to his size and occasional mouthiness.  Ike would be best in a home with no cats or small animals.
• Handling – Ike tolerates handling for grooming activities such as nail clipping and ear cleaning with zero complaints.

Ike is true gem who will make his forever home very happy with his snuggles and goofy personality.
