This is Chatter, who earned this silly little name due to the literal chattering of teeth that occurs when he’s anxious or excited.  He is house trained, loves his crate, and LOVES food. He is the coolest dude. Grateful, loving, affectionate….the best boy. He has been in rescue for months. He’s not the first dog that everyone pays attention to seeing as hes a “plain jane” black dog and all 🙁

So we’re hoping someone (YOU!) sees his profile and wants to be the one who will give him a chance <3

Chatter is being fostered with a dog and does fine with her. Chatter just finished a 3 week board and train course to work on his leash manners and introductions. Chatter has had a RUFF life. Like, really rough. When he first came into rescue we noticed that he had a stick lodged between his back molars which was causing a major infection…. very close to his brain. After a 7 hour surgery, he is healed and ready to find his forever family. Chatter seems to be fearful of children. He will shake and slowly make his way to his crate. We think in his past life he was scolded for playing with kids so he associates them with being in trouble. He has never done anything to them, but because of his fear, we think he would feel most comfortable in an adult home. Loud noises still sometimes scare this poor guy so a calm place for him to lay his head will be best for him. He is so smart! He knows “place, sit, lay down, shake” and so much  more!

He would be perfect for someone who is looking for a calm, sweet companion. Single person or married doesnt matter! As long as he gets a lap to lay on, this boy will be in heaven! He’s hoping its with you!
