Belle –

This shy girl is a very sweet senior. Like a fine wine, she gets better with age. Mellow, sweet, totally trained, easy, low maintenance. Thats her! We think she’s about 9 years old and has been through a lot.  It is Belle’s turn to find her peace and love in her forever home.

Belle is a homebody and likes to stay near her people. Her forever family would need to be patient with her as she adjusts to a new home. We think Belle was in the shelter a LONG time so with a transition, she thinks she might be goin back. Belle found comfort in a kennel for her first few days with her foster family. But her happiest place is sleeping next your bed.

Belle is happy to go outside for potty breaks, but doesn’t care to linger out there without you. She does well on a leash when out for a walk and not distracted by squirrels or other dogs. And she enjoys going for car rides.

Her ideal family might be a retired couple or a family with older kids who would respect her from a distance while she learns she is safe and there to stay. Belle is the perfect companion for someone who would like to give love to a senior dog and in return, get love and perfect companionship from a very grateful Belle.
