Meet Bella-

Beautiful Bella is a six year old bully who was recently returned to rescue after four years in her adoptive home.  We don’t know the whole story of why she was returned, but we do know it was all about the people she was with, and not about Bella, who is a sweet, well behaved lady.

Bella has fabulous house manners- housebroken, kennel trained, and trained to stay off the furniture.  She walks nicely on a leash, but will get pretty excited when sees a squirrel or a rabbit. Bella loves her people and wants nothing more than to follow her foster mom from room to room and lay at her feet while she works.  Bella loves kids, and gets along great with the other dog she is fostered with ( and was living with other dogs for years).  Bella does have a very high prey drive, and is not cat friendly – she is very focused on small animals like squirrels and rabbits, and will dig at the fence to try to get them.

After being sent away from her home, Bella was a bit anxious, but has settled in nicely in her foster home.  She loves her pets and belly rubs, and is friendly and affectionate with new people.  Bella had a visit to a dog friendly taproom and was happy to meet many new people and dogs.  Now we need to find her the perfect true forever home she deserves – if you are looking for well trained, affectionate almost perfect adult dog, Bella just might be the girl for you!
