Meet Bear, the gentle giant.

Bear is a pup who loves to be outdoors, whether it is for a walk/jog, playing with his rope toy, or just soaking up the sunrays in the yard. When he isn’t outside, he likes to think that he is your lap dog.  He loves having his belly rubbed, his face massaged, and gives the best hugs.  I personally think the phrase “bear hug” was created by him!

Bear knows how to sit and is a pro when it comes time for him to be kenneled.  As previously mentioned, he likes to go on walks and is definitely the leader, but he is working on not pulling so much.  He gets along great with our resident pup and the two of them wrestle and play a lot, but Bear does not like it when the pup gets too close to his food.   Bear does need to be fed separately from the other animals but he is perfectly fine with humans giving him food or taking it away.

Due to his large size (80 lbs) and playfulness, he would best be suited with older children because he has a tendency to jump up for affection and give those great big bear hugs!
