ABOUT ME “Joy”

My name is Joy and am a Southern Bell from Alabama. I am a Beagle mix about 2 years old and reached my full size of 25 lbs.  My personality is very sweet, happy and fun.  I really  like going for walks (all the smells out there), chewing on chew toys and running in the fenced backyard.  I am very playful and like to do wind sprints before snuggling under blankets and playing with my toys. I am looking for a family to love and share my adventurous personality with.  It takes a few minutes to get used to men, but after seeing I am safe… I am good to go!! Let me tell you what I am good at: I sleep in my kennel overnight, I love going on adventures, I love playing and I love snuggling!

I would do great in a family with another playful dog and would do fine with older kids who like to play and take walks.  My favorite hobbies are wrestling on the couch, chewing bones, moving shoes and sleeping on my human’s lap… for hours. I like to wear my coat outside so I don’t get cold.

I am currently working on basic commands, potty outside, walking on leash and being my best self.  I enjoy frozen carrots and sweet potatoes for treats.  I will be your best friend forever!

I do have references from Santa Claus that I am a very pretty girl and will fit immediately into your family photos and am a great size to take everywhere with you. I am looking forward to meeting you and to share my love forever!! – Love,  Joy
