Meet Ms. Marley!
Breed: Staffordshire Bull Terrier Mix
Age: 2-3 years
Weight: 50 pounds
My Story: I was found as a stray in Brooklyn Park and wound up in the local shelter. I was super sad and lonely but as luck would have it Spots Last Stop busted me out and things are looking up! Now I’m on the search for my forever family.
Activity Level: Medium. I love to run in the fenced back yard and keep a lookout for squirrels and bunnies. I like to go in and out a lot and would love it if my forever family had a fenced in yard for me to play and explore. I also love to go for walks! I sometimes pull a little bit when I get excited but overall my leash skills aren’t too shabby.
Potty Training: Piece of cake, I figured this out quickly after a few weeks in my foster home.
Kennel Training: Rockstar status. I kennel during the day while my foster mom works and come out at lunch for a break to burn some energy and have a potty break. I also sleep in my kennel at night without a peep. Its my safe space and I love it.
Kids: I currently live with a teenager and I love hanging with her and her friends. I would do best in a home with older, respectful kids.
Dogs: I prefer to be top dog so I would do best with mellow and/or submissive dogs. I live with two dogs in my foster home now and for the most part we all get along great! Every once in a while, I butt heads with the resident male dog because we both like to think we are in charge. I would also be just fine as your one and only pup.
Cats: I live with two cats now and I would never hurt them but I do like to chase them. My foster parents think I would probably do best in a kitty free home so I can avoid the temptation.
What I’m working on: I’m still kind of shy and unsure when I meet new people or get into new environments but I do warm up fairly quickly! I’m also learning not to jump on people when they get home or when people come to visit.
I’m just a really sweet and happy girl and I have so much love to give! I can’t wait to have a family of my very own so please fill out an application and come meet me!
Bully breeds and unaltered puppies can not be adopted out of the State of Minnesota.
