Hi,
My name is Bailey, and I am a 3-month-old female, hound mix. My foster parents think there may be some beagle in me because of my cute little face and awesome coloring. I also have a little beagle bark. Oh, don’t worry, I don’t bark much, just when I get excited when I am playing…which I love to do…more about that in a bit. I am still very much a puppy and am busy working on my training and my manners. I
am doing well on my potty training and even let you know when I need to go outside. I have to say, I do love my treats after I do my business and it is a huge motivator for me during training. I do a great job with sit and I am working on stay and down next. With a little bit more training, I know I can master better manners and some other cool doggie tricks too. I hope you are good with walks because I am doing quite well, if I do say so myself. I have been lucky to be able to go on 2 to 3 walks a day and this has really helped me get comfortable with the harness and leash. I also am very good with other dogs and adults, but really have not been around too many little humans yet.
I do favor a fenced in yard because I LOVE to run and run…even in all of this MN snow! After all my running around, I am in for a good nap. Since I am still a pup, naps are important. I am not a huge fan of being in my crate for more than 2 or so hours as I prefer to be out and about since I am such an energetic, curious fun-loving pup. Naps on the floor or a comfy chair or couch next to my human is awesome. I am active and love to play with my chew toys, bones, tug-o-war and balls so being in the crate all day would not be ideal for me. Although I don’t prefer my crate during the day, I do not mind it for bedtime. It only takes me a couple of minutes to settle downthen I am out like a light for 6 to 7 hours. I am sure I would not be opposed to snuggly up in bed with my human if given the chance also. Love my sleepy time! So, if you love to play, enjoy hugs, kisses, and snuggles, I am the gal for you! I am smart and I have plenty of time to train to be your best dog and companion. I am looking for a home that is willing to love my energy and is willing to train me as I am very smart. Ineed a home that is full of love and has tons of love to give me.
