Things I can brag about: I already know “sit” and “shake”! I come inside when my foster parents call me. I’m really good at puzzles, like the snuffle mat and wobble kong! My foster family calls it “enrichment” but I basically just have to use my brain to earn treats. My leash skills are coming along nicely and I’m always happy to practice! I’m good at giving kisses and cuddling up with my people after a long day. And best of all, I’M HOUSE-TRAINED, BABY!!

Things I’m still working on: Sometimes I cry when I’m put in my crate. I know it’s my safe place and I eat all my meals in there but being alone can make me sad. I’m a counter surfer! What can I say? That’s where people keep all the good stuff! Don’t worry, my foster parents are working on it. We also work on house manners and threshold training. I’m a busy body, which is fine, but as I get more settled into foster life I’m learning that it’s okay to relax. Have you ever heard of a nap??? News to me too!

Things I enjoy: Nachos, probably. And car rides, wow do I love car rides! I like going for walks, and being outside in general. The snow is new to me, so sometimes I don’t last long out there, but I’ll definitely ask to go back out in 12 minutes when my toes warm up again. I love toys, not just one at a time, but 4 at a time. And playing tug with the rope! I also really like playing with other dogs, and I’m good at respecting their boundaries. I’m a pretty active boy, so I would love someone who would take me for walks or runs, be my hiking buddy, or throw the ball for me!

Things you’ll love about me: I’ll always want to be by your side. You need to use the bathroom? I’d feel more comfortable if I came with. That chair only seats one? I’m sure there’s room for me. I’ve mastered “puppy eyes” and you’ll melt when you see me. I’m so soft, you won’t be able to keep your hands off me, which feels like a win-win! I snore when I’m having a reeeally good rest. Foster mom says my head is so big because that means there’s more room for kisses. I’m really sweet, and there’s nothing I want more than to be loved by people who give me a second chance at the life I deserve.

My foster family thinks I’m really special, and I think you would agree. If you’re interested in meeting me, have your people call my people! (actually foster mom says you should fill out an application)
