Penny is a very sweet and affectionate girl-snuggles are totally her jam. She likes to give hugs and kisses and be where you are. Penny loves all people and kiddos. She does love to give kisses, so she needs reminding that babies don’t need to be licked all the time! We have had ages 1-9 around her a lot and she loves it. Every once in awhile she will mouth, but only when in a very playful mood and is easily redirected with a toy.

Penny loves hard bones, squeaky toys, antlers. We have been working on “sit” & “down”.  She has learned “kennel” although it is not her favorite. She needs convincing to go in the crate, but does not whine at all and settles in just fine. She is learning that treats are good and will work for them.  Penny will enjoy continued training and classes. She is fully housebroken, we haven’t had any accidents.

Penny plays with our resident dogs just fine. She could be in a home with or without another dog. She is very interested in the cats and doesn’t understand why they won’t play with her. Because of this a home without cats would probably be better.

 Penny is a gem of a dog and we have been so pleased to be her bridge to her forever family. Will you be her forever?
