Hi! I’m Coal and I can’t wait to have my first barbecue with you!
Aside from my love of barbecue (but not the dangerous space), I got my name because of my unique coloring. I’m not quite black, brown, or gray but I do have some black spots on me that make you remember how unique my coat is. I can’t wait for you to see it, but just know my foster mom says if you see it you will love it.
I am a super playful pup that loves to play hard and then take a well deserved nap. I love taking naps near you, but I have no issue napping in my crate. I might whine just a little bit when you put me in there but I quickly realize you are right and I’m tired.
Speaking of sleeping, did you know I already sleep through the night? My foster mom says that’s a big deal but I just think it’s cool that I have energy to play again.
Some of my favorite things are bug chasing and playing with toys. Seriously, who do those moths think they are on my lawn? I haven’t caught one yet, but I know I will soon.
Are you worried about potty training? You don’t need to be with me! I’m doing great. I love to go outside, do my business, and then get back to playing. If you take me out you can rest assure I will have no problems going!
I absolutely love playing with my dog foster brother, my young human foster siblings, and those crazy cat foster siblings I have. I just can’t figure out why the cats don’t want to play with me. I try and try but eventually get bored play bowing and jumping around and move on. Their loss!
I’m excited to keep working on things like “sit” because I get treats! I’m not there yet, but my foster mom thinks I’m going to be a good dog to train.
Before you go, here is one more really fun fact about me: I have five digits on each of my back paws! I think that makes me really special and I can’t wait for you to think the same! So what are you waiting for? Let’s meet!!
