Hello friends, my name is Ira and I am wonderful, if I do say so myself!

I love hanging out with my family and my foster brother Apollo. I also like my cat friends, but they don’t want to play much so I leave them be. I love chewing, but don’t like getting in trouble. If you could please ensure I have bones and other chew toys, I would be very grateful…and so will your shoes!

I love going on walks, but sometimes cars and others scare me! If I take it slow, I will do just fine. I love other dogs, but take my time going up to them for the intro as I’m a little shy. Once we sniff, I’m good and try to play!

I sleep in my kennel on blankets. I love soft things and will curl up on any pillow, bed, couch or pile of blankets! I also eat in my kennel because I don’t want to upset my foster siblings and I feel safe to eat in peace.

I love it when my human foster siblings pet and play with me! I’ll roll over so they can pet my belly too! I can adapt to any home environment, but would really like to have a brother or sister to play with and learn from. I’m very proud because I have not had any potty accidents in my current home!

I am updated on my vaccines and had some parts taken out so I won’t be able to have puppies; don’t be sad about that though. I understand there are already enough dogs that need love and don’t want to introduce more into the system!
