Hi! My name is Nellie! I recently traded life in an overcrowded shelter and have settled perfectly into my foster home. At about 2 years old and 40 pounds my foster mom says I’m at the perfect age and size to fit right in with nearly any home.

I’m currently fostered in a home with other dogs and love to romp around with them! Don’t tell my foster siblings but my real love are my humans. I simply can’t get enough of them! I might be a little shy at first but in no time at all I’m sure you’ll be my best friend. In my forever home having canine siblings would be great but if I was your one and only that would be perfect too! But I would love to have regular playdates!  I’m not picky! At my foster home I do love my fenced yard but if you’re looking for a buddy that will walk, run or hike with you that works for me too.

I’m a total lover who has plenty of wiggles and kisses to go around! Because of that a home with older, dog savvy children or no children will be best as I might get too excited around those little ones.

Not to brag but I am crate and house trained. Things I need to keep working on are basic obedience so a forever home that will continue my canine education is a must. I’m smart and eager to please so training classes WILL be a blast with me.  Just this how we can show off together!
